Ongoing I have been trying to have a prescription completed for over twelve months and it has taken eight of those months to establish that the practice has been using a diagnosis which is in fact only a symptom of my actual condition which is now worsening by the week and is adversely affecting my day to day activity and quality of life. I am reluctant to describe the practice as incompetent preferring to use the word "confused" and relying entirely on government guidelines and advice at the expense of dealing with the patient they would see in me if they looked.
