Note road trailer and launching trolley
THE BACK STORY
In the very early 1970s I built a GP14 Sailing Dinghy from Jack Holt plans and iroko teak frames and seats, douglas fir stringers, best (at the time in 1972) marine ply skin, pots of glue, jars of brass screws and yellow paint.
My brother ... much more skilled than I am, built a bespoke trailer for it with integrated launching trolley ... as you did in those days and he also did most of the skinning with all that hand-scarfing and brass screwing.
I sailed 7275 through the 70s and 80s in all sorts of waters from Lakes in Clare to bays in Ballinskelligs and Skerries and estuaries with interesting tides and currents until I was taken out of active service by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which did not go away and precludes my working on the boat.
Transferring to UK in 2000 I trailed the rig 600 miles to Essex behind my camper and lodged it in my garage where it remained until a recent declutter brought it to light.
The boat has always been well minded but now ... after fifty years ... the hull is in need of partial re-skinning.
The frames and stringers are in amazing condition but would respond to linseeding raw and boiled. 7275 comes with original Proctor aluminium spars and rigging and a full suit of Downer sails in pristine condition
Sails and spars are shown in the slide show

The sailbags contain a red main, red standard jib and BRIGHT red storm jib, bright yellow genoa and a colourful spinnaker which I forgot to slide
7275 has never been raced but, because it was registered before 1973, it would be allowed to do so in its original colours.
(Later rules require white sails for racing).
WikipediaGP14
The boat has its own trailer (Indispension with Mini rims) with an integral launching trolley. Transom incorporates an outboard mounting for the original Evinrude Lightwin 4hp two-stroke in running order & available
Hyperlink2Lightwin
My outboard is MUCH older than the one shown in the link and weighs much less too.
