FRAULEIN

This is possibly the first day of the rest of my life or perhaps the first week is more appropriate. I attend a face book group called British History and during a discussion on old minis comes a message to me from a rather winsome fraulein who has been trying to hook up she says for some time  and has decided to come out and make her request in plain sight.

She is Berlin-born, Houston-abiding, working in Denmark. During the past few days we have managed to ramp this up so we are now getting to know each other on Whatsapp and just five? days in we are getting down to real business.  There has been a void in my life for a long time, a companion that I can share with, more than a pen pal.  Someone with whom, if we [ever]  meet, I can hold hands with and laugh and admire the view over a glass of wine or a scrabble board ...
