I call this "On-Grid-Ways" because it describes [mainly] "London Boaters" who have not yet got the concept of off-grid together and probably never will. Boaters who cannot exist without a shower and use cassettes as the nearest they can get to a flushing toilet ... which is the only way they can deal with excrements.

They have never ever peed in a bucket or shat in a terra firma excavation.

They are incredulous to find a boat floating on the same water as theirs which recycles human waste, separating the liquids from the solids and using wee wee as fertilizer

Off-grid water poured into a [Buckby?] jug from a stand-pipe in my Utility Room. Off-grid is a composting toilet, recycling my shit to make compost & growing tomatoes in the compost from seed which traversed my digestive system on an earlier date.

Others store excrementals in a plastic 'tub' until the stink is so unbearable they have to lug [the tub] to a 'sanitary point' which has to be smelt to be believed but which makes its presence obvious half a mile away in the right wind and provides a permanent presence at 50metres which elicits a strong desire to 'eject matter from the stomach through the mouth' (OED).

Pentargon60906 sails gaily past these foul locations because her skipper doesn't give a shit. He composts the shit and recycles it.

On-gridders shit-holes look like house loos!
