I first saw Pentargon in August 2011.
It had taken some time to get to where I had arrived on that date: many viewings, many cross-country miles, many detours, each an eventual time-waster.
Early advice that "if you keep searching for your dream it will find you" stayed with me.
Pentargon had bided time from before I even started my search, waiting patiently until I was just about ready to give up.
My patience tank was running on the fumes as I left the latest time-waster somewhere in Buckinghamshire. Or was it Bedfordshire? Or maybe Cheshire? My note-scrawl said

Deciding there was nothing to lose, I skited up the A5 til fornenst Watford Gap, driving through fields of harvest-ready rapeseed behind which lurked a 'marina'.
It was nearing the end of August and nearing the end of my patience. I'd been to one marina too many and had viewed more than one crappy canal boat too many.
Online pictures for Pentargon were not appealing nor was the associated sales pitch. The price was well over my budget. The length was well over my spec.

The internet does not even scratch my life but my life-slate measures the width of life's fabric. I prefer to macerate in life's water by immersion. I have no interest in its apps
While others google over a picture of rising steam or marvel at the photogenic qualities of a pixelated cup I insist on smelling the coffee in realtime. When I want something I will not be not side-tracked by a deceitful web trying to push tat I patently neither need nor want. I am also inured of its churning algorithms: I declare myself to be the origin of my species:
